Witness - ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ

ಇಂದು ಅದೇಕೋ ಖುಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ

ಕಾರಣವಿರದೆ ಮನ ಆಕಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ

ಕ್ಷಣವೊಂದು ಯುಗವಾಗಿದೆ

ದಿನವೂ, ಕಿಚಿಗುಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳು

ಇಂದು ಆಗಿವೆ ನನ್ನದೇ ಬಾಯ ಚಿಲಿಪಿಲಿ

ದಿನವೂ, ಸೊಂಯ್ಗುಡುತಿದ್ದ ಗಾಳಿ

ಇಂದು ಆಗಿದೆ ನನ್ನೊಳಗಿನದೇ ಉಸಿರು

ಎಂದೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳದ

ರೇಡಿಯೋದ ಹಾಡುಗಳು

ಇಂದಾಗಿವೆ, ಕತೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕತೆ ಹೇಳುವ

ಅರ್ಥಗರ್ಭಿತ ಸುಂದರ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳು

ದಿನವೂ ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ  ಮಂದ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಬೆಳಕು

ಇಂದು ಆಗಿದೆ ಕತ್ತಲೋಡಿಸಿ

ಜಗದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ ಟಾರ್ಚು

ಆಗಬಾರದೇಕೆ ದಿನವೂ ಹೀಗೆ

ಕಾಣದ ಖುಷಿಯ ಈ ಮೂಲವ

ಹೇಗೆ ಹುಡುಕಿ ಹೆಕ್ಕಲಿ

ಹೇಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಿ

ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಉರುಳುವ ನಾಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ

ಇಂದು ನಾನು ಹೀಗಿದ್ದೆನೆಂದು

ಬಹುಷಃ ಈ ಕವಿತೆಯೇ

ಈ ಘಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ

Today, for no reason I am happy

For no reason, Soul has become sky

A moment has become an epoch

Daily twittering’s of birds

Today, have become my own voice

Daily whispers of wind

Today, has become my breath

Daily murmuring radio songs

Today have become cinemas

Telling stories within stories

Dim light of sun

Today has become a torch

Dispelling darkness and showing

The colors of world

Why can’t everyday be like this

How can I search and find out?

The invisible source of this happiness

How do I record this and show it?

To ever rolling tomorrows

That, I was like this

Perhaps, this poem is the

Only witness to this moment
